Wildflower seedling transplanting

Thanks to Nicky Vernon for allowing us to raid her garden for ox-eye daisy, field scabious and red campion seedlings. All are now safely transplanted into the Mem Hall Field along with the yellow rattle we sowed a couple of weeks ago. Next week we’re hoping to add some bird’s foot trefoil using plug plants grown in pots. With luck we should have a fine display of wildflowers in the field next spring/summer hopefully with plenty of foraging bees and butterflies.
